  This section provides information  and clinic locations of  Accredited Registered Nurses providing  independent private Ear Clinics

Ear treatments are carried out by adequately qualified registered nurse / nurse specialists.  All treatments are carried out under direct vision with an  oto-microscope.

This is a safe otological procedure.

Treatment and advice  is  given for outer ear infection, otitis media with effusion (glue ear), discharging ears, mastoid cavity cleaning, excessive earwax accumulation, and foreign body removal.

Abnormalites and ear disease are able to be detected and referred to Otorhinolaryngology (ENT)Specialist

All those listed  are qualified  to offer this service. They are competent in  the use of the oto-microscope, and associated technical and theoretical knowledge.  They are  members the National Ear Nurse Specialist Group Aotearoa.
